The BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine has been launched in India with the introductory prices starting at Rs. 51.50 lakh for the base 330Li Luxury Line variant, going all the way up to Rs. 53.90 lakh for the range topping 330Li M Sport variant. All prices are ex-showroom India. The new 3 Series GL is the long-wheelbase version of the 3 Series already on sale, and both models will be sold alongside in the country. The new 3 Series Gran Limousine gets a 110 mm longer wheelbase that liberates 43 mm of additional legroom, while the seats and suspension have been optimised for a more comfortable ride. The new model is also the longest and most spacious model in its class, drawing power from the 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines under the hood. All other features have been carried over from the standard 3 Series, while the GL also gets a panoramic sunroof to complete the package. The model competes against the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Volvo S60, Audi A4 and the Jaguar XE in the segment.
