Farmers from Muzzaffarnagar, adjoining areas to proceed to Ghazipur

Thousands of farmers from Muzaffarnagar, who attended the Kisan Mahapanchayat against Centre's farm laws decided to proceed towards the Ghazipur border from Saturday to support the farmers' protest. A massive crowd gathered for a farmers' "Mahapanchayat" or meeting called by Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Naresh Tikait in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, less than 150 km from the Ghazipur border near Delhi where Tikait's brother Rakesh is leading a protest against farm laws. ‘If Rakesh Tikait is held, we will also court arrest’, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said at the mahapanchayat .
