The International Cricket Board is set to meet on May 28 and apart from resuming the International sports calendar, the fate of the World T20 may also be decided. The marquee event is scheduled to take place in October-November in Australia but the global pandemic may just disrupt the plans. Moreover, BCCI had earlier expressed its interest on shifting the focus to bilateral series rather than ICC tournaments for this year, so that the cricket boards could make money to sustain themselves. Therefore, a push to utilise the World T20 window to make up for the lost time in the bilateral series calendar may also be discussed. All cricket activities have been on a standstill since March.
