Though there won't be a mega IPL auction this time around, there's still plenty to expect when players go under the hammer on February 18. BCCI recently announced a pruned list of 292 players for the 8 franchises. Kings XI Punjab have the maximum purse amount at Rs 53.2 crore while Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad have the lowest remaining purse amount at Rs 10.75 crore. The highest reserve bracket is of Rs. 2 crore which includes big names like Harbhajan Singh, Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith and 7 others. Interestingly, Chris Morris has kept his base price at Rs. 75 lakh and is expected to trigger a bidding war. Apart from him, son of Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun, with a base price of Rs. 20 lakh is also likely to be on various franchises' radar.
