Canada's oldest railway tunnel, the 525-meter Brockville Tunnel has now been transformed into a magnificent tourist attraction, with over 700 LED light and sound systems lighting it up. It is a visually stunning walkway for pedestrians 365 days a year. Unique wooden doors have been built at the end and beginning of the single track non-functional tunnel. These are opened every morning to let tourists in. The redone lighting now highlights the exquisite architecture of the tunnel including mineral deposits on the walls.
