In a recent media interaction, Mahesh Babu revealed that he wouldn't do Bollywood films as the industry would not be able to afford him.

In a recent media interaction at the trailer launch of Adivi Sesh's 'Major', Mahesh Babu opened up about making his debut in Bollywood.

He said that even though he has got multiple offers in Hindi, he doesn't want to waste his time working in an industry that can't afford him. The stardom and the respect he gets in the South was huge. And that’s why he never really thought of leaving the industry and going to some other industry.

The actor added that he always thought of doing films and becoming bigger and since his dream was coming true now, he couldn't be happier.

Mahesh Babu was last seen in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', which was released in 2020. The actor's upcoming film is director Parasuram Petla's 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', which will be released in theatres on May 12 this year.
