'Suits' final season to stream on Netflix from July; here's everything you need to know

In an exciting turn of events for the fans of 'Suits', Season 9 (final season) of the legal drama is coming to Netflix. The final season, premiered in 2019, was previously streaming exclusively on Peacock. The show follows Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who leverages his photographic memory and quick wit to secure a position as an associate with a fiesty corporate lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) at a reputed law firm in Manhattan. The show also stars Meghan Markle, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman, and more in pivotal roles.

'Suits' final season coming to Netflix!

The ninth and final season of 'Suits' will premiere on Netflix on July 1, Netflix announced on Sunday, June 2. The update came after cast members Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Amanda Schull, Dulé Hill, and former USA Network president Jeff Wachtel reunited for a panel presented by Tudum at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas.

Twelve years after its first episode premiered on US cable TV, 'Suits' has seen an unprecedented surge in its popularity. The legal drama was the most streamed show of 2023, surpassing cult classics, 'The Office', 'Friends,' 'The Big Bang Theory', and 'Modern Family' among others. As per Neilsen, Suits cumulated 57.7 billion minutes of viewing last year—edging out the mark set by 'The Office' in 2020.

Following the massive popularity of the show after its Netflix premiere, Suits Showrunner are eyeing a comeback, with a brand-new spinoff. Titled Suits L.A., the upcoming series will be set in the same universe as the original legal drama with a brand-new cast.
