SAG Awards 2022: 'Squid Game', 'CODA' win big

The 28th annual SAG Awards 2022 were held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on February 28 and the award list is finally out.

The Best Picture win at SAG Awards 2022 was snagged by 'CODA' starring Emilia Jones, Marlee Matlin, Troy Kotsur in lead roles. The film also managed to bag another major win as Kotsur took home the Best Supporting Actor win and made history by becoming first deaf actor to have an individual win in acting honours.

Will Smith turned out to be the big winner as the actor won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for 'King Richard'. Jessica Chastain was awarded the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role win for her performance in the film, 'The Eyes of Tammy Faye'.

It's raining awards for 'Squid Game' at SAG Awards. The survival drama earned three wins, including Outstanding Action performance by a stunt ensemble in a Television Series. It was followed by actor Lee Jung Jae bagging the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series Awards. Following him, Jung Ho Yeon won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series award.

HBO's 'Succession' took home the honour as it won the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series win.

'Ted Lasso' was named best ensemble in a comedy series, and its lead, Jason Sudeikis, took Best Actor in a comedy series.
