BTS agency Big Hit requests fans to not flood Jin with gifts or visit him at the centre

BTS member Jin, who recently joined military service, is receiving many gifts at the training camp. The Big Hit agency was forced to release a statement requesting fans to refrain from sending gifts.

The agency said it would convey fans' love and wishes to Jin. It's also coming up with a new hashtag on Weverse, a popular social media platform in South Korea.

In the statement, the agency thanked BTS Army for their love and support, and added, "Below is additional information for fans to keep note of throughout Jin’s military service period. Jin is stationed at a training center designated specifically for military training together with regular military personnel. If a large number of gifts and fans arrive at the center all at once, it would be difficult to store them and they could be easily lost. We ask that you please refrain from sending anything by mail. Big Hit will assist in making sure that Jin is able to personally see any kind and warm messages fans leave on Weverse using the hashtag #DearJinfromARMY."

The statement further requested fans to not send Jin gifts and letters even when he has finished his training and is stationed at a military base. Jin left for training camp on December 13.
