Vivek Oberoi's Praise for Bishnoi Community Sparks Debate Amid Salman Khan Controversy

Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, an old video of actor Vivek Oberoi praising the Bishnoi community has resurfaced on social media. This video, recorded during an event in Dubai in February, has sparked interest and discussion.

In the resurfaced clip, Vivek can be heard saying, “Try looking up the Bishnoi community on Google. You won't find a scene like that across the world. In every household, including mine, we feed cow's milk to kids. There's only one community in the whole world – the Bishnoi community – where if a fawn's mother dies, the Bishnoi mothers take it in their laps and feed them milk like they feed their kids. You won't find this anywhere else in the world."

As the video gains traction online, many social media users find irony in Vivek's comments. One user pointed out that, Vivek might be taking revenge against Salman, with one comment indicating he was simply “adding fuel to the fire.”

The controversy surrounding Lawrence Bishnoi continues to unfold, following the recent murder of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was reportedly close to Salman. The Mumbai Police suspect that Siddique's death was orchestrated by Bishnoi's gang, especially after a Facebook post emerged warning against those who support Salman Khan and the Dawood Ibrahim gang.

Lawrence’s animosity toward Salman dates back to 1998 when Salman was involved in a blackbuck poaching case, which deeply angered the Bishnoi community. On the professional front, Vivek was last seen in Rohit Shetty's show Indian Police Force on Prime Video India earlier this year, while Salman is currently busy filming for the reality show Bigg Boss 18 and his upcoming movie Sikandar.
