'Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2': Meet Bonita Rajpurohit, the transgender woman who headlines Ekta R Kapoor's film

Ahead of the release of 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2', producer Ektaa R. Kapoor has introduced a trans woman as the protagonist of the film. Bonita Rajpurohit, a transgender woman, will be seen playing the leading role of Kulu in the Dibakar Banerjee directorial. In a video chronicling her journey on the sets of LSD 2, the makers shared how Kulu found her calling in the city of dreams. Notably, this will be the first time a transgender woman will be seen playing a lead role in a theatrical Bollywood film.

The teaser for 'LSD 2' has generated curiosity among the audience due to its startling plot, which explores the difficulties and complexities that define modern relationships in our highly technological society. Now, building on the anticipation, the makers have revealed the main protagonist of the film. Bonita Rajpurohit, a trans woman, has been roped in to play the lead role in the crime fiction. On Sunday, the makers shared a video on their social media showcasing Bonita Rajpurohit's journey and how Bonita landed the role. The official Instagram page of Balaji Motion captioned the video, "Sapno ke shehar mein Kullu found her calling. Meet Kulu, our first lead of #LoveSexAurDhojha2".

Other star cast of 'LSD 2'

Bigg Boss OTT fame Urfi Javed will be making her big-screen debut with 'LSD 2'. 'Qala' star Swastika Mukherjee will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the film. Anu Malik, Mouni Roy, and Tusshar Kapoor, on the other hand, will appear in cameos.
