Alia Bhatt dances to Ranbir Kapoor's ‘Channa Mereya’ as she wraps ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’

Soon-to-be mom Alia Bhatt has finally completed the shoot of her last project, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, co-starring Ranveer Singh. Director Karan Johar posted a video of the actor dancing to Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Channa Mereya’ on the last day of her shoot as Rocky aka Ranveer cheers her on. In the clip, KJo can be heard telling Alia, ‘It’s a wrap for you, what better song to say goodbye.’

‘Channa Mereya’ is from Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, also directed by Karan Johar.

Karan Johar’s post has been captioned, ‘A talkie wrap on my Rani! Watch Rocky cheer her on! And excuse my excited and crazy camera moves! Rani ne kaam kar liya on this prem kahani! Ab Rocky tu bhi aaja wrap ke maidan me! Song selection is from my emotional library.’

Alia shared the same video in her Instagram stories and wrote, ‘Going to miss this team so so so so so much…. Talkie wrap on Rocky aur Rani but we have one fabbbbb song to go! Love you all to bitssssss!! Until next yearrrrr.’

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh earlier co-starred in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’.

‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. The film was initially expected to release in February 2023 but its release date has been postponed due to Alia's pregnancy.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor married in April and are expecting their first child. The couple will next be seen together in the Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’.
