The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has registered a money laundering case against Raj Kundra in connection with the production and circulation of porn films.Reports indicate that the Enforcement Directorate took a closer look at Kundra developed app named 'Hotshots' which distributed the alleged porn and was sold to a UK based firm Kenrin. It has come to light that the CEO of Kenrin, a UK based company, is Pradeep Bakshi, who is actually Raj Kundra's brother-in-law. And in return Kundra continued to service the app via another company Viaan which ED sources said saw transaction worth crores of rupees for small services. 
News agency ANI reports quoting sources that porn movies, which were made in India and uploaded on the Hotshots app and the money that subscribers paid was was transacted in the name of Kundra's company Viaan Industries.Raj Kundra now out on bail, was arrested on July 19, 2021 along with 11 other people on charges related to the alleged creation of pornographic films which he continues to refute.

The Zoya Akhtar directed &lsquo;The Archies&rsquo; it has been making news all over, courtesy its unique casting. The latest update about the film is that Tara Sharma and Koel Puri have now been signed up for the film. This news was first reported by Bollywood Hungama. As per a source who is aware about the shooting schedule of the film confirmed the news to Editorji as well.
The report stated that, both, Tara and Koel will be seen playing mother to Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda in the film. While Tara Sharma has acted in films like &lsquo;Page 3&rsquo;, &lsquo;Om Jai Jagdish&rsquo; and others, Koel Puri has acted in films like &lsquo;The Zoya Factor&rsquo;, &lsquo;Everybody Says I&rsquo;m Fine&rsquo;, &lsquo;The Great Indian Butterfly&rsquo; and others.
When Editorji spoke to Tara Sharma regarding the film, she said, &lsquo;Its too early to speak anything about it now&rdquo;. Attempts to reach Koel Puri did not yield any results.

For the unversed, Zoya Akhtar&rsquo;s &lsquo;The Archies&rsquo; will star ​Agastya Nanda as Archies, ​Suhana Khan as Veronica and Khushi Kapoor as Betty. The other actors in the film include ​Mihir Ahuja, ​ Aditi Dot, Yuvraj Menda and ​Vedang Raina, who will be reportedly seen in the role of Reggie Mantle.

What happens next is the transformation of the ‘useless’ Adi to an extremely responsible man, which will be unveiled in the film.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar revealed on Saturday (May 14) that he has to skip the Cannes Film Festival this year, because he has tested positive for Covid-19.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Akshay wrote that “Was really looking forward to rooting for our cinema at the India Pavilion at #Cannes2022, but have sadly tested positive for Covid. Will rest it out. Loads of best wishes to you and your entire team, @ianuragthakur. Will really miss being there”.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Akshay Kumar will be walking the red carpet at Cannes 2022 alongside music legend AR Rahman, R Madhavan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Nayanthara, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Shekhar Kapur and others.
Akshay Kumar, who will be next seen in Yash Raj Films' period drama 'Prithviraj', had previously tested Covid-19 positive last year in April.

'Anand' will soon be getting a remake. NC Sippy’s Grandson Sameer Raj Sippy along with producer Vikram Khakhar will be producing the iconic drama.
Film critic and movie trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on his Instagram handle. He wrote, “OFFICIAL REMAKE OF ‘ANAND’ ANNOUNCED… #Anand - one of the most iconic films starring #RajeshKhanna and #AmitabhBachchan, directed by #HrishikeshMukherjee - will be remade by the original producer - #NCSippy’s grandson #SameerRajSippy - along with producer #VikramKhakhar. While the film is in the scripting stages, the makers are yet to finalise the director and star cast. #Anand #AnandRemake.”
Soon after the announcement, excited fans took to the comments section to express their excitement. While some wrote that they want to see Ranbir Kapoor in the film, others didn't approve of the remake.
However, the makers are yet to finalise the director of the film. The remake will be set in the post-Covid era.
The cult classic was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. It revolved around the story of a doctor's emotional connection with his patient which leaves a profound impression on the former. The dialogues of the film were penned by Gulzar which have been always remained evergreen.
