'The Ba***ds of Bollywood' trailer: Aryan Khan's directorial features Lakshya's journey to fame with Rajamouli, Aamir Khan in cameo

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 8 (ANI): The trailer of the highly anticipated Aryan Khan's debut directorial 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood' is finally here. Aryan Khan is the son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
On the heels of the first preview of the series last month, the fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of its trailer. The movie stars the 'Kill' fame actor Lakshya in the lead role.
The series also stars Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh and Vijayant Kohli in the prominent roles, along with a bunch of cameos by Aamir Khan, ace director Rajamouli and Disha Patani.
This seven-episode series follows Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious newcomer with dreams as big as the silver screen. With his loyal best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal) and manager Sanya (Anya Singh) by his side, Aasmaan steps into the world of fame.
The three-minute and twenty-eight-second trailer opens with Lakshya calling himself an actor who is supposed to create scenes after he was accused of creating chaos with his statements.
It was followed by a houseful theatre with Lakshya's movie on the big screen. With the viewer's reactions, it appeared that the actor had made a breakthrough in the film industry, prompting words of appreciation from his mother and father, played by actors Mona Singh and Vijayant Kohli, respectively.
It was followed by the surprising cameos of Disha Patani, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Rajkummar Rao. The trailer also takes a dig at the paparazzi culture around the cinema industry.
Despite this bunch of cameos, the spotlight was consumed by the Baahubali director Rajamouli and superstar Aamir Khan, who were seen conversing in the video.
In the trailer, Aamir Khan humorously shrugs off Lakshya after the latter chooses dish Vada Pav after he was asked to select one between Idli and Vada Pav.
This humorous scene beautifully symbolised the two successful cinema industries of India--the South movie industry and the Hindi movie industry.
As the trailer progresses, actor Lakshya finds himself up against his biggest challenge yet, superstar Ajay Talvar, played by Bobby Deol, when he is cast opposite his daughter, Bollywood newcomer Karishma, played by Sahher Bambba, in the movie.
Amid the battle of fame, Lakshya deals with several problems, including his rumoured association with underworld dons, as shown in the trailer.
The video ends with the introduction of Shah Rukh Khan's cameo.
Netflix, the streaming giant, shared the trailer of the series on its Instagram handle on Monday.
"Too filmy to be real. Too real to be filmy," wrote Netflix while sharing the trailer.
