Global asset management company State Street Corporation to create 5,000 jobs in Telangana's Hyderabad

Global asset management company State Street Corporation will be expanding its business in Telangana's Hyderabad. The company will be creating 5,000 new jobs with this expansion.

The announcement was made after the company officials met with the state's Industries Minister KT Rama Rao in Boston. KTR also took to twitter to announce this big boost to the state's economy.

Good news from Boston Big boost to Hyderabad’s BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) sector @StateStreet one of World's largest asset management companies with over $40 trillion under its custody, is expanding big in Hyderabad by adding 5,000 new jobs Not only are they hiring some exciting jobs under AI augmentation, Data Analytics and emerging technologies, State Street is housing global roles for Accounting, HR, and others in the Hyderabad Hyderabad now becomes the second largest presence for State Street after its Boston Headquarters. So proud!!

After the Boston headquarters, Hyderabad would become the second largest base for State Street following the expansion. Certain global roles, accounting heads and HR mobility among others will be housed in Hyderabad.

The company also plans to add software engineering and data scientists roles who will be experts in data analysis, artificial intelligence and other areas. State Street Corporation had opened its centre of excellence opened in Hyderabad in 2017.
