Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, has been in the role for just five months

Elon Musk is set to not just buyout Twitter but also takeover as temporary CEO ousting 5-month-old chief Parag Agrawal as per reports .

CNBC reports quoting sources that Musk who is already CEO and Tesla and SpaceX will take up the post of temporary CEO at the social media platform when the $44 billion takeover concludes Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal — a major Twitter investor who will remain invested in the private company — wrote that Musk would be “an excellent leader for Twitter” as it goes private.

Parag Agrawal who took over from co-founder Jack Dorsey in November, reportedly told employees at Twitter that “Once the deal closes, we don’t know which direction the platform will go.”

CNBC quoting sources stated that Musk told investors that he felt Twitter’s earnings were too low and the company has “too many engineers not doing enough.

On Thursday, an SEC filing revealed Musk got another $7 billion from friends and investors to buy Twitter.
