A 139-year-old two storey Victorian house in San Francisco, was wheeled out to its new address, in a rather unusual sight for bystanders. The green home was loaded onto giant dollies and rolled to an address about six blocks away. Onlookers lined the sidewalks to photograph the structure, as it moved. Veteran house mover, Phil Joy, told a local newspaper that he had to seek permits from over 15 agencies and the first part of the journey was tricky since it involved going downhill. The owner of the six-bedroom house will pay $400,000 in fees and moving costs, say reports.
