Food tech giant Zomato is set to list tomorrow as per the market buzz. The listing was originally slated for July 27. The grey market premium is suggesting a bump up of 30% at open.
Zomato’s initial public offering (IPO) was subscribed 40.38 times, generating demand of Rs 2.13 lakh crore, the third highest ever noted in Indian markets. Zomato shares were offered in a price band of Rs 72-76/share.
Meanwhile rival Swiggy managed to steal the spotlight and raise $1.25 billion dollars from investors such as Softbank and Goldman Sachs ahead of Zomato's listing.
