Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal releases statement in 'woman's assault' case

Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal issued an official statement in the wake of a controversy over Bengaluru woman’s allegation that food delivery company’s executive ‘barged’ into her house and attacked her, leaving her nose bleeding. The delivery boy named Kamaraj denied all the allegations made against him by the woman, Hitesha Chandranee. Goyal, in his statement said Zomato is covering Hitesha’s medical expenses and helping her with proceedings. Meanwhile the company is also extending support to Kamraj so that ‘both sides of story come to light’.
