Younis Khan stepped down as the batting coach of the Pakistan Cricket team ahead of the England tour in July. He was appointed last year in November on a two-year contract until the 2022 World T20.
PCB chief executive Wasim Khan in a statement said that following a series of discussions, the board and Younis reluctantly but mutually agreed that it was time to move in different directions. Both PCB and Younis Khan have agreed to not make any further comment on the reasons for the former captain’s departure.
