Yusaku Maezawa, a Japanese billionaire, is looking for 8 crew members to join him for a voyage to the moon on SpaceX's Starship.

On Tuesday, Maezawa announced that his dearMoon project hopes to give people from around the world a chance to join the moon mission slated for 2023 and called for applicants for the week-long trip. It will have 10-12 people in all, but he opened the mission to 8 others.

Those interested for the first civilian lunar mission, which will be completely paid for, can pre-register for the contest until the 14th of March after which a selection process email will be sent to the applicants.
