Yogi Adityanath rewards Noida DM Suhas LY with 5 increments and Rs 5 crore

IAS officer Suhas LY who brought fame to the nation at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 by winning a silver medal at the event has received a handsome reward from UP CM Yogi Adityanath. The Noida DM who also was conferred the Arjuna Award was given Rs 5 crore for his achievements.

The IAS officer who is a former World No.1 in para-badminton also received a 5-fold increment from the state government for bringing laurel to the nation.

Noida DM juggled his daily duty of Covid management in the district along with practicing for the Paralympics. Noida notably was one of the worst-hit districts in UP during both Covid-19 waves and Suhas LY was largely credited for managing and controlling the spread in the district.
