As feared, Day 4 of the World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand went down the drain. Constant rain never let the covers come off in Southampton and the day was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Day 1 of the final was also washed away. New Zealand are at 101/2, still trailing India by 116 runs. Interestingly, ICC has kept a reserved 6th day for the final, which will come into play.
