What is believed to be the world's oldest depiction of an animal was just discovered by archaeologists in a cave in Indonesia.

The image of the warty pig is at least 45,500 years old, experts believe.

The pig was painted using a red ocher pigment and the image shows it observing a social interaction between two other pigs.

These Indonesian cave paintings are shedding light on the early story of humanity.
