World Pear Day gets an official date!

In some fruity news, the US Department of Agriculture has proclaimed December 1 as the official World Pear Day. Promoting pear produce on a global scale, the organization will host events across 24 countries where people can taste samples and play interactive games. Using their social media handles, USA Pears will share everything from recipes to how pear brandy is made through the month of December.
