Zoom abruptly fires its president Greg Tomb, a month after announcing 1,300 layoffs

Video calling platform Zoom, abruptly announced the termination of its president Greg Tomb from the company without stating any particular cause.

This comes even less than a month after the company announced almost 1,300 layoffs last month.

The latest move comes as a surprise because the top level executive was hired by Zoom merely 10 months ago in June 2022.
