Former US President Donald Trump received a boost hours after he was charged on more than 30 felony counts related to payments allegedly made to ex-porn star Stormy Daniels.
A US court on 4 April 2023 ordered Daniels to pay more than $121,000 to Donald Trump in a different case, as per reports.
Stormy Daniels had filed a defamation case over Trump's tweet mocking the adult film actress' claim that she was threatened by an unknown man. In 2018, her case was dismissed and she was ordered to pay Trump's legal fees.
She had then filed an appeal, claiming that the fees amount was too high. This appeal has now been rejected.
