Heart-breaking visuals of a young girl being rescued from the rubble of a collapsed building in Turkey emerged on 7 February 2023.
The girl is seen crying for her mother, asking where she is. The footage was captured in the city of Hatay in southeastern Turkey - one of the places hit the hardest by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake and its strong aftershocks.
Meanwhile, the death toll crossed the 5,000 mark after Turkey revised the casualty numbers to more than 3,400, as per the news agency Reuters.
