Israel stepped up bombardment in Gaza on Friday night- the heaviest since the beginning of the war. Israeli Defense Forces said that they have hit 150 underground Hamas tunnels during the heaviest aerial bombardment of Gaza The Guardian reported quoting IDF sources.
On Friday Mobile Internet connections in Gaza were cut off entirely followed by the night-long airstrike, by the Israeli airforces.
The IFD Spokesperson said that 100 Jets were put on task to hit the combat tunnels, underground combat areas, and underground terrorist infrastructure.
In a statement from Hamas', it was engaged in a fight with IDF on the ground, although the intensity of the fight was not made clear.
