An altercation broke out in a flight from San Francisco to Chicago, causing injuries to the flight attendant.

The viral incident from November 13 broke out on a United Airlines flight which has a woman holding her baby screaming at the onboard staff.

The woman in the purported video can be seen pushing the crew members, who are asking her to ‘step back.’

The incident reportedly broke soon after the flight landed at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.

While it’s not clear on what led to argument, Fox32 Chicago reported that the disruptive passenger was deboarded by officials, and the assaulted crew member was taken to the hospital.

The airlines in an official statement confirmed that the ‘disruptive passenger’ was deboarded.

"A disruptive customer on a flight from San Francisco to Chicago was removed by law enforcement upon landing on Sunday, and one member of the flight attendant crew was taken to a hospital for evaluation," United Airlines said in a statement.

Meanwhile, NDTV quoting United Airlines reported that no serious injuries were reported and the Federal Bureau of Investigation has begun a probe into the matter.
