Marco Aurelio dos Santos Rocha or Foka was arrested by the Rio de Janeiro police on Wednesday while he was watching a football match in Brazil's Maracana stadium, according to an official Rio police statement.
The druglord was detained by officers, the statement further said, while he was in the stands watching Fluminense, a football club in Brazil, advancing to Copa do Brasil semifinals against Fortaleza.
When the police approached him, he was donning a Fluminense jersey that had Foka written on it alongwith number 13.
According to the police, Foka is the alleged leader of drug trafficking in a favela complex in Rio de Janeiro's metropolitan area.
Foka, who is considered a wanted fugitive as two arrest warrants have already been issued against him, would also be responsible for several killings, officials added.
