Following a deadly racist attack in USA's Florida, the state governor faced boos and protests while addressing a vigil for the victims.

Republican party Governor Ron DeSantis was booed on August 27 as he condemned the racially-motivated shooting that took place a day earlier.

DeSantis, who is hoping to be the Republican candidate in the 2024 Presidential election, called the shooter a "major league scumbag".

On August 26, 21-year-old white male Ryan Palmeter murdered three Black persons and then shot himself in Jacksonville.
