An incident eerily similar to the George Floyd case occurred in the American city of Los Angeles on June 24.
A police officer has been accused of slamming a woman on the ground and using pepper spray on her. A video purportedly showing the entire incident has gone viral on social media.
The incident occurred when two police officers were placing handcuffs on the woman's husband, and she was recording it on her phone, as per reports. The policemen claimed that the couple was accused of theft at a store.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said that an investigation has been launched, and the two officers have been removed from field duty.
