Indian-American presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy has called China "the biggest threat" that USA currently faces.
The Republican party leader added that if elected, the first step in his policy would be to declare economic independence from China.
Ramaswamy told Fox News in an interview that he would go for "total de-coupling" and ban most US companies from doing business with China, unless Beijing reforms its behaviour.
