US warned India against plot to kill Khalistan leader on American soil: Financial Times

US authorities have reportedly foiled a conspiracy to assassinate a Sikh separatist leader on American soil. Financial Times reported on November 22 that US officials had also issued a warning to the Indian government over concerns of its involvement in the plot. 

Quoting 'multiple people familiar with the case', Financial Times said that the target of the plot of was Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, an American and Canadian citizen who has been pushing for an independent state of Khalistan through his organisation Sikhs for Justice.
