UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on August 15 attended a Ram Katha at Cambridge University.
At the event, Sunak told religious leader Morari Bapu that he was there as a Hindu, and not as the Prime Minister.
Sunak, who is UK's first Indian-origin PM, is a practising Hindu and is often seen performing religious rituals.
At the programme, Sunak pointed to an image of the Hindu deity Hanuman and revealed that an idol of Ganesh sits on his desk at the PM's office-cum-residence.
