Several adult film actors in the United Kingdom have halted their work amid growing concerns over reported syphilis outbreak in Europe.
As per a report by the Independent, the porn stars are calling for a union to be formed in UK.
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) which is transmitted through sexual contact and causes skin lesions and rashes. The infection which is caused by bacteria can be cured with the help of antibiotics.
Syphilis, if left untreated, can trigger graver issues, including permanently altering and damage of internal organs and brain function.
