New York/Washington, Sep 5 (PTI) - US President Donald Trump welcomed a distinguished group of technology executives to the White House, including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Google chief Sundar Pichai. He praised this “high IQ group” for spearheading a business revolution.

“The most brilliant people are gathered around this table. This is definitely a high-IQ group and I'm very proud of them,” Trump stated. He was positioned at the head of a long table, with First Lady Melania Trump, Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates on one side, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on the other.

Sitting across from Trump were Pichai and Apple CEO Tim Cook, while Nadella was seated towards one end.

Trump acknowledged the honor of gathering with this group, highlighting their influence in leading a revolution in business, genius, and various other fields.

After delivering opening remarks, Trump invited the tech leaders to share their insights.

Pichai briefly commented on the transformative “AI moment” of our times, emphasizing the importance of U.S. leadership in AI. He praised the Trump administration’s investment in AI and described the ‘AI Action Plan’ unveiled in July as a “great start”. Pichai expressed his eagerness to collaborate, thanking Trump for his leadership.

Trump responded, commending Pichai for his great work.

Turning to Nadella, Trump mentioned that Microsoft’s stock had soared from USD 28 to over USD 500, crediting Nadella for his leadership.
