Israeli military claimed that its aircraft struck two Hezbollah cells in Lebanon early on October 23.
It said that Hezbollah planning to launch anti-tank missiles and rockets toward Israel from the cells, one of which was adjacent to the Israeli town of Mattat, while the other was in the Shebaa Farms area.
According to Reuters, Hezbollah said one of its fighters was killed but did not give further details.
The clashes come as the conflict between Israel and Hamas widens.
According to Palestinian authorities, over 4,000 people have died in Gaza since the war broke out.
