Colombo, Sep 23 (PTI) - On Tuesday, Sri Lanka announced that it has entered into an agreement with the European Union aimed at supporting sustainable economic recovery through biodiversity conservation and enhanced solid waste management efforts

The finance ministry revealed in a press release that this initiative will concentrate on the restoration of degraded ecosystems, the implementation of targeted conservation strategies, and the promotion of sustainable land-use practices
