A Singapore cab driver was caught on camera verbally abusing a woman he thought was of Indian origin. The driver allegedly implied that Indians are stupid in his angry rant.

The woman, who clarified that she was Singaporean-Eurasian, was in the cab with her 9-year-old daughter. The driver said he was Chinese and claimed Indians were “the very worst kind.”

The woman was also accused of travelling with a child shorter than 135 centimetres, which requires booster seats as per Singaporean laws. The woman retorted saying that the child was 137 centimetres.

The woman, later identified as 46-year-old Janelle Hoeden, repeatedly said she would file a complaint against the driver. The cab company later said they are probing the incident to “fully understand the circumstances,” India Today reported.
