A Rwandan politician who criticised UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda has said that she now fears for her life.
Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza who served eight years in jail for challenging dictatorship rule in her country had written a column in The Guardian on December 12, 2023 questioning her country's treatment of refugees.
