Russian President Vladimir Putin is not going to attend the G20 meet to be held in September New Delhi, India, NDTV reported quoting the Kremlin.

Putin did not attend the recently concluded BRICS summit held in South Africa in person. The leader attended a gathering of leaders from the BRICS group virtually.

Pertinently, the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Putin accusing him of war crimes in Ukraine. It is believed that Putin is avoiding travel to other countries as he risks arrest.
