Amid tensions over Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar's murder, Canada has updated its travel advisory for its citizens in India.
Noting that there are calls for protests and some negative sentiment towards Canada on social media, the Ottawa administration asked its citizens to remain vigilant and exercise caution.
The move comes after New Delhi issued a similar advisory for Indian nationals staying in Canada.
The Indian government has also suspended visa services for Canadians.
The row started after Canadian PM Justin Trudeau alleged the possible involvement of Indian agencies in the killing of Nijjar.
