Russian President Vladimir Putin has revealed that the crown prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman was among the world leaders who helped Moscow and Washington negotiate a historic prisoner exchange. During a panel discussion hosted by the Eastern Economic Forum, Putin said the Salman “played an active role in the first phase of negotiations."
