Days after UK's Prince Harry and wife Meghan claimed that they were involved in a "near-catastrophic car chase", a New York City police source blamed it on the couple.
Quoted by The New York Post, the source said that Harry and Meghan had tried to force late Princess Diana's favourite hotel The Carlyle to give them a discounted room.
When the hotel refused, the couple ended up staying at a friend's house. The alleged car chase happened because Harry and Meghan didn't want to lead the paparazzi back to their friend's home, the police source claimed.
