Prince Harry, Meghan involved in 'near catastrophic car chase'

Britain's Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle, and her mother were involved in a near-catastrophic car chase, as per the Duke of Sussex' spokesperson.

The couple was brazenly chased by the paparazzi in New York City where they attended an award ceremony by the Ms. Foundation for Women. The foundation had honoured Meghan for her work., as per Reuters. 

"This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD (New York Police Department) officers," the official police statement said. 

Notably, this was the very first public event attended by Prince Harry after the grand coronation ceremony held in the UK on May 6.
