Police said that preliminary information suggested that a 'planted device' caused the explosion. "An unfortunate incident occurred here. When information of a blast was received, we swiftly reached the spot. Our counter-terrorism department teams are present there. BDU staff also there. I came to the hospital to meet the injured," said DIG Operations, Lahore.
