On camera: father throws baby from 2nd floor window in US, then jumps himself to escape fire

A desperate moment during a fire mishap in America was caught on camera. A man was forced to throw his 3-year-old child from the second floor of a building after a fire broke out.

The incident reportedly occurred in New Jersey in the US. The South Brunswick Township Police Department tweeted a video of the incident. It was captured on the body camera of one of the policemen at the spot.


Three of the personnel urged the man to "pass the baby down" from the second floor. They are seen catching the child. Subsequently, the man himself jumps down to escape the fire.


The police department tweeted, "Rescue captured on officers' body worn camera. Dad throws child out 2nd floor window to officers and firefighters, then jumps to escape flames consuming apartment building."
