Canada's Immigration Minister Marc Miller brushed aside India's external affairs minister Jaishankar's critical remarks following the arrest of three men for the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

Jaishankar earlier said that Canada was lax about its immigration system, after he reacted to reports to three men arrested in the alleged murder of Nijjar.

He also responded to reports whether the three Indian-origin men accused of killing Nijjar came to Canada on a student visa.
